Ch 4 (Culture & Religion) AND Close Reading of “Serving is Different from Helping and Fixing”

Culture and religion in Eurasia/North Africa is very interesting. Especially the map of time for the religions around these places. People discovered religions as far back as the 4th century. They discovered christianity, life of paul, life of Jesus, Zoroastrianism, Jewish exile in Babylon, Buddhism, and Greek rationalism. Another things that grabbed my attention were the cultural traditions of this region. One tradition the Indian culture developed was Hinduism. However, it later on developed into a diversity of gods, spirits, and beliefs. The significance of this chapter was the cultures and the diversity it created.

Serving is different from helping and fixing

I found this article very well written. I was very fascinated with what was said and how it was explained by the authors. I found it unique how different two similar things can be. For example, serving and helping/fixing. These words almost seem like they are very similar but they are actually very different from each other.
